Optiminds Team

The Biloela SHS Optiminds Team travelled to Brisbane early this month to compete in the Optiminds State Championships. Our Team, coached by Mr Daniel Rowlands, competed in the Literature Section of the competition. Supported by the Biloela SHS P&C and CS Energy, the team competed against other schools from across Queensland for the prestigious title.

With great excitement our team triumphed and were crowned State Champions - Language Literature  section defeating Fairholme College and St Teresa's Catholic College. Congratulations to the team of James Cummins, Lewis Jonker, Samantha Kummerfeld, Keagan Harrison, James Kerr and Hayleigh Warry. Special thanks also to Mr Rowlands and the supporters and parents who travelled with the team.
