Emily was chosen from Year 10 artists across the state, to participate in the Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art's In Residence program for 3 days in late November at GOMA, Brisbane. She is pictured here with Ms De Shan, BSHS Visual Art teacher, with her artwork titled 'Under the Mushrooms' was required to respond to Charles Blackman's acrylic work 'The Blue Alice' 1956/7.
